Cast your vote for the Character Name!

Image

Annie, the winner of the contest, has given us 4 names to choose from for the character of Iris’s mom’s new boyfriend in the sequel: Paul, Harry, Scott, or Robert (Bobby) – ALL great choices and I’d be happy with any of them!

See post below for pictures of what he might look like!  Handsome, kind, 50ish, and somewhat tough or rugged-looking, or at least like he was in the past. 🙂

  1. I like Robert. It’s a good solid name. 🙂

  2. Well I like Bobby!! Harry reminds me too quickly of Harry Potter (whom I love but still…) and Paul reminds me of Paul Blart (I also love!)

  3. I vote for Paul.

  4. I vote for Paul. My least favorite is Harry because it doesn’t seem mature and handsome. My second favorite is Scott.

  5. Erik VanWinkle

  6. Scott is my vote

  7. Scott. No question!

  8. Lol! I just realized that if Scott is picked, I’ll have to change Patrick’s father’s name. I had it as Scott in my outline for the sequel. Haha! No problem, though. I’m not married to it. 🙂

  9. Harry! Dusty, you know why.

  10. I like Robert-Bob. In my eyes he is handsome, one of a kind, strong willed, good sense of humor, always ready to help those in need. Although, a tough guy persona he is a giver of TLC when needed most. He is one that knows no strangers–he does not discriminate-he picks on every one with an ornery twinkle in his eyes. Only those without a good sense of humor do not appreciate him.

  11. Choice is obvious it has to be Bob unless you want more of a sissy name like Bobby…… just saying..

  12. I’m voting for Scott. I think the name is versatile enough to fit a broad range of character types. Bobby seems like the guy who would be the “friend” of a girl, but nothing more, but always wanting to be more than a friend. (Unless that fits the character, and in that case, Bobby all the way! LOL)
