Free Copy for Review!
Normally I hit up book bloggers and official book reviewers to ask for reviews, but then I realized anyone can do a review. They may or may not have a blog to post it on, or maybe their blog isn’t really book-related, but that doesn’t mean they can’t leave a review on Amazon and/or Goodreads.
So…I’m putting the request/offer out there. If any of you are interested and enjoy reading young adult fiction, particularly urban fantasy, I’ll give you a free ARC (advanced reader copy) in exchange for a review. If you’ve never done this before, just let me know what format of ebook you want (epub for ipad/iphone, mobi for kindle/kindle app, pdf), and when you’ve finished, let me know and post the review on Amazon, your blog, and/or Goodreads. You’ll need to add “I received a free copy of the book in exchange for an honest review” or something to your review.
If you do have a blog and want to be part of the re-release blog tour, I can give you a date to post your review during that time. The blog tour is from August 21st – September 10th.
Just fyi, Shadow Eyes isn’t up on Amazon again yet, but it will be soon once I put it up for pre-order. It is still on Goodreads, though.
You can comment here or email me (see Contact section) if you’re interested. Thanks!!
Here’s the book blurb below:
Iris thought she could ignore the shadows…until they came after everyone she loved.
Seventeen-year- old Iris Kohl has been able to see both dark and light figures ever since a tragic incident three years ago. The problem is, no one else seems to see them, and even worse…the dark figures terrorize humans, but Iris is powerless to stop them.
Although she’s learned to deal with watching shadows harass everyone around her, Iris is soon forced to question everything she thinks she knows about her world and herself. Her sanity, strength, and will power are tested to the limits by not only the shadows, but also a handsome new teacher whose presence scares away shadows, a new friend with an awe-inspiriting aura, and a mysterious, alluring new student whom Iris has a hard time resisting despite already having a boyfriend. As the shadows invade and terrorize her own life and family, Iris must ultimately accept the guidance of an angel to revisit the most horrific event of her life and become the hero she was meant to be.
